To look after such females, we run a shelter in Delhi by the name of “Jia Nari Niketan”.  Nkhil Tanawade Experience with Destitute Womens Nkhil Tanawade  has seen that some of the females living in our “Nari Niketan” were found abandoned, roaming in miserable conditions on roads.Many of them were victims of rape or sexual abuse in their past. Since his childhood, Nikhil Tanawade always wanted to help people in need but didn’t have enough resources to do so. Post his graduation from Delhi University in 1996, he went on to pursue Master of Arts in Counseling from Sikkim Manipal University, in order to provide better counseling to the needy. He has now become a professional social worker. Nikhil Tanawade - Owner of NGO (Future Guide for Kids)

Nikhil Tanawade  completed his Master of Arts in Counseling from Sikkim Manipal University in 1998 with an aim of helping people in need. He started his  NGO (Future Guide for Kids)  in 2003 and has been helping kids to build a good future for themselves since then. He also aims to eliminate child labor in the country completely by 2025. Not only in getting a job, but  Nikhil Tanawade  helps children even after placement and guides them on how to be effective at work and how to succeed in the job. Few of the kids whom Nikhil helped back in the 2000s are now in top positions in some of the big companies. According to Nikhil Tanawade, children are the future of a family as well as the country. Nikhil Tanawade has initiated with Do Not Honk In India unnecessary vehicular honking is the main reason for noise pollution. The problem is worst at traffic signals where drivers start honking without waiting for the signal to turn green or for traffic to move.  Nikhil Tanawade  realise drivers show no respect to the law that prohibits the use of horn at traffic signals and other silent zones such as areas near hospitals,  schools, religious places and residential areas. Vehicular honking in cities has reached at an alarming level and contributes approximately 70% of the noise pollution in our environment. The unwanted sound can affect human health and behavior, causing annoyance, depression, hypertension, stress, hearing loss, memory loss and panic attacks. Nikhil Tanawade - A Professional Social Worker

Nikhil Tanawade is the owner of Future Guide for Kids, an NGO that aims at providing support to adoptive families and counseling kids in order to help them grow in their career. Since his college time at Delhi University, Nikhil Ramakant Tanawade loved helping people and this made him start his own NGO. Holding a Masters degree in counseling, Nikhil Tanawade is attached with 5 NGOs apart from his own Future Guide for Kids since 2000. He started his own NGO 16 years ago while simultaneously doing a job. Nikhil Tanawade  has helped improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families with his expertise in providing assistance and advocacy.
